Something ‘pretty and pastel’ was the only simple request for this sweet birthday picnic to celebrate the lovely Gigi heading into her teens. I love working with pastels and being the first styling job on the other side of the COVID 19 lockdown era, it was a delightful project to get my creative soul working again.
I thought I’d get crafty and spray-paint dried palm spears a soft mint colour to include in the florals, this also ended up on eight acrylic charger plates to match. Each place-setting was dressed up with our blush linen napkins, blush water glasses and personalised chocolate bar treats. To enhance the cosy feel, I added soft faux sheepskin rugs on top of a jute rug base and lots of comfy cushions. Underneath the linens are two of our six-seater timber dining tables to make one long 2.4 m table, but with shorter legs bolted on. To bring the eye up, all that was needed was our cute pastel bunting which finished off the outdoor space beautifully. We also supplied an array of white cake plates, cheese boards, lolly jars and a drink dispenser. Happiest of birthdays Gigi! x
