What an absolute pleasure it was to style Mel and Joel’s 90 guest wedding at the pristinely beautiful, Gabbinbar Homestead in Toowoomba. Mel chose a soft gold, pink and white colour palette and was after ceremony florals that could be repurposed in the reception behind the bridal table against the gorgeous french doors. Mel loved the idea of a beautiful large wreath, so we constructed a frame and made it up on-site in the Pavillion, one of Gabbinbar’s many beautiful ceremony spots. Along with bridal florals, we also styled the conservatory with centrepieces, charger plates and gold sequin linens to compliment her bridesmaid’s sequinned dresses. The antique gold footed vase arrangments placed either side of the aisle entrance also found a new home on the guest book table and hutch.
While we were adding final touches to the cake we had a chance to chat with beautiful Mel before she walked down the aisle to marry her love. It was such a special moment, not only for her to see the reception space all ready to go but we all loved seeing her dressed to utter perfection and calm as could be. We wish you all the very best Mel and Joel!
