Located on the gorgeous front lawn of Brisbane’s Hanworth House, we created a beautiful garden party to help our client, Sandra celebrate her 50th Birthday with her nearest and dearest. Styled with simple but elegant bottles of pink and apricot flowers to accommodate space for share platters, we paired them with our natural linen runners, napkins and rattan charger plates. Simple but effective carnations hung graciously from our market umbrellas and we thought they were just the right finishing touch to dress up our generously wide timber tables.

Catering was provided by the lovely folks over at Alfresco Catering, all hire, styling and florals were by us and beautifully photographed by Carol over at Farrago Creative.

Oh what fun, and a little nerve wracking I must admit, to be invited to participate in Mirra’s Style Masters Corporate Christmas Competition 2016.  It was such an honour to compete amongst 5 other wonderful Brisbane event stylists  to put our best foot forward. Competitors only had 2 weeks to prepare (in August mind you when there are zero Christmas decorations to be found) and a count down of 45 minutes to create a stunning Christmas/New Years area from scratch.

We chose to do what would be our ultimate dining table setting, with hand crafted, lit camelia Christmas trees and the most beautiful white and gold deer heads to bring a modern but traditional feel.  A special mention to the lovely Tash from Gold Wedding Hire to loan us her stunning gold cutlery, you’ll see it pairs with our gold rimmed dinner plates and gold beaded glass charger plates perfectly.

A huge thank you to Jack from Don’t Say Cheese Photography for the beautiful photos. Also, a big thank you to Mirra for having us and last but not least, a massive congratulations to the winners - Brandition who along side Mirra’s Chef, created an amazing  food serving station that could be used for any festive event.
